Full voting breakdowns revealed for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest

On Saturday evening, the 2017 edition of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest took place. The Maltese public chose Claudia Faniello to represent the country in Kyiv with her ballad Breathlessly. Furthermore, for the first time ever televoting alone determined the winner of the national selection. Only the top three positions were revealed on the night. However, PBS have now revealed the full voting breakdowns from Saturday’s show.

Overall, during the show 18,967 votes were cast. Lots of votes for a tiny island! The full voting results are as follows:

As we can see, the hot favourite before the contest wasn’t too far away from the top 3 in the end. Brooke was just 502 votes behind Kevin Borg in third place. Claudia was a very deserving winner, receiving more than a quarter of all the votes with 26.3%. A very impressive feat in a field of 16 entries!
