Joci Pápai is to represent Hungary in Kyiv

The final of A Dal was on Saturday 18th of February.  Joci Pápai won, with his song Origo!, which he will be performing in Kyiv for Hungary.
Joci Pápai is a know singer in Hungary and has had several hits since 2006. His song Origo is in Hungarian and Romani and is a interesting mix of the languages and styles, including rap and traditional elements. Since 2007 the Hungarian entries have been mostly in English apart from the 2013 entry “Kedvesem”,  and the English/Hungarian mix in 2011 and 2013. Here is Joci´s winning song, will it make it to the Final as well?

 
Eight acts performed in the final, one of them was András Kállay Saunders with his Band. We know him from his song “Running” that he performed in Denmark in the year 2014. András´s song ended in 5th place in Copenhagen, which is the best result Hungary has had in the resent years. But since 2011, after 1 year break, Hungary has always made it to the final.
