Live interview: Arnar and Rakel are getting it on!

With only few days to go before the first semifinal of Söngvakeppnin 2017, escxtra’s Wiv sat down with Arnar and Rakel to have a quick chat about their entry and what they have been up to lately. And before we get to interview, this is the official video to the icelandic version “Til mín”.

So after getting to see this sweet video lets get to know the singers better.

We asked them to sing for us and they chose to get it on with the song “Marvin Gaye”.

 
Both are familiar with Söngvakeppninn. This is the second time Arnar preforms does a duet in Söngvakeppninn. He also did a romantic solo in 2010 with the song “Þúsund stjörnur” the year when Hera Björk won with the song “Je ne sais quoi”

Rakel is takeing part for the 3rd time as well in the Söngvakeppnin. She was background singer for Gréta Mjöll in the year 2014. And she was part of Hinemoa last year, with their song “Þú leitar líka af mér”.
