The wheels of this Eurovision 2017 bus just keep turning as Portugal and Romania both select their entries tonight. You might want to grab a coffee, you’re in for a long one as one of these two shows is scheduled to end at 02:00 CET… It’s like San Remo all over again.
After two long semifinals over the past two Sunday nights, all eyes are on Portugal to decide which of their remaining eight songs will go to Kyiv, Ukraine. The winner will be determined by a public televote and votes from regional juries with the show finishing at around 02:00 CET. Yep. That’s 2am. Where’s the coffee?
The running order for the Final is as follows:
- Jorge Benvinda – “Gente bestial”
- Pedro Gonçalves – “Don’t Walk Away”
- Lena d’Água – “Nunca me fui embora”
Nick van Lith and Nathan Waddell will be taking you through tonight’s show.
Romania are aiming to bounce back from last year’s enforced disqualification with a strong competitor. To many, there is only one song that Romania should send to Eurovision 2017. “Yodel It!” received a maximum of 60 points from the jury in the semifinal. However, the result tonight will be determined solely by public vote. In addition, tonight’s proceedings also feature a former Romanian representative in the competition. The final result is far from certain.
The running order for the Final is as follows:
- Ana-Maria Mirică – “Spune-mi tu”
- Ilinca feat. Alex Florea – “Yodel It!”
- Eduard Santha – “Wild Child”
- Xandra – “Walk On By”
- MIHAI – “I Won’t Surrender”
- Maxim feat. Nicolae Voiculeț – “Adu-ți aminte”
- Tavi Colen & Emma – “We Own the Night”
- Instinct – “Petale”
- Ramona Nerra – “Save Me”
