The Lithuanian way to Kyiv started more than two months ago, on 7th of January. Back then, the first 12 of 51 candidates competed in the first of many “Eurovizija” shows. Eight heats and one semi-final later, we finally know who is going to represent Lithuania in Kyiv.
Even though there were only seven contestants left in the final, tonight’s show went on for more than three hours. There were plenty of musical acts and useless chats to fill all that time. In the end, after half an hour of presenting the jury votes, we got to know that the band Fusedmarc won the ticket to Ukraine where they will perform “Rain of Revolution”. Both in the televoting and the jury voting, Fusedmarc ended up in the lead, even though Aistè Pilvelyte was said to be the favourite beforehand with the song “I’m Like A Wolf” by noone less than Aminata Savadogo.
The complete results of the “Eurovizija” final are as followed:
- Fusedmarc – “Rain of Revolution”
- Aistè Pilvelyte – “I’m Like a Wolf”
- Kotryna Juodzeviciute – “Love Shadow”
- Gytis Ivanauskas (Lolita Zero) – “Get frighten”
- Gabrielius Vagelis – “Feel Myself Free”
- Greta Zazza – “Like I Love You”
- Paula – “Let U Go”
