We previously reported that Timebelle were in the process of revamping their song and creating the music video. Today, the final version of the Swiss entry, ‘Apollo’, has been released!
The new version of song has a much more electronic feel than the original. However, the song still keeps its classical feel, particularly due to the music video being set inside what appears to be an ornate palace.
The vocals in the new version have also been greatly worked upon; Miruna seems to have an almost ethereal-feeling set of harmonies singing with her throughout the choruses.
There is also an extremely powerful build up until the last chorus, which now feels even more emotional than before.

Timebelle’s road to Kyiv
‘Apollo’ was selected as the Swiss representative after a national final on the 5th February, beating five other songs. Other than mentions of the revamp and music video production on social media, Timebelle have remained fairly quiet until now. However, they have confirmed that they will be in attendance at the Amsterdam pre-party. They are yet to confirm their participation in the London pre-party.
In the betting odds
When first selected as the Swiss entry, Timebelle debuted at 33rd in the betting odds. Less than satisfactory for the group! The bookmakers seem to be rather uncertain about them, though, as they have sunk as low as 40th, and rose to as high as 25th. Now that the final version has been released, Switzerland sits at 32nd in the odds.
Apollo will be performed in the second half of the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine, on the 11th May. Good luck, Timebelle!
