It’s now time to announce yet another act for the 2017 London Eurovision Party! The next artist joining our ever-growing list of performers is JOWST from Norway. They will be performing at the Café de Paris on April 2nd!
JOWST were one of the last acts to be selected to take part at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. They won the final of Melodi Grand Prix less than two weeks ago. In the first round of voting, JOWST received more sets of 12 points from the international juries than any of the other nine competing acts. Then, in the four-act superfinal, the Norwegian public chose Grab The Moment as their winner with more than 36% of the final vote.
Meeting the performers
JOWST is in fact a solo DJ and record producer. The 27-year-old has teamed up with vocalist Aleksander Walmann for Grab The Moment. Aleksander rose to fame after reaching the final of The Voice of Norway back in 2012. Now, JOWST and Aleksander will be hoping to grab the ultimate moment of winning the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv.
Nevertheless, first we will get to see their modern dance song live in London. The Norwegians will be performing for us in London’s iconic Leicester Square venue in less than two weeks time!
