The latest artist to rehearse is Demy from Greece. We have just watched her first run through of This Is Love live on screen and here is our initial reaction.
Summary in a sentence
A competent first rehearsal with nice use of backdrops, podiums and hologram screen although the latter seemed slightly irrelevant.
Staging
The LED backdrops begins with a dark blue background with white rain falling from above. During the chorus the backdrop turns gold. Demy also begins the performance on a podium before lowering to the stage by the end of the performance. She hastwo male dancers that are playing with water and a hologram screen also appears in front of Demy around halfway through. There was the obligatory crowd camera shot during the breakdown.
Vocals
Demy’s vocals were competent if not extraordinary, very solid for a first run through!
Costumes
Demy is wearing a soft gold dress which looked fancy enough to be her actual costume. Her male dancers wore nude-coloured shorts.
