The latest artist to rehearse is Kasia Moś from Poland. We have just watched her first run through of Flashlight live on screen and here is our initial reaction.

Summary in a sentence

Vocally faultless although the staging feels static and there’s nothing particularly memorable about this except for her vocals so far.

Staging

The LED backdrop begins with a dark cloudy sky that gradually change into a constellation of stars. Then at the end, these stars spell the word ‘Freedom’ in various different languages. She is joined by a violinist on stage.

Vocals

Kasia’s vocals were faultless, she sings parts of the song in a higher, more powerful key in comparison to the studio version.

Costumes

Kasia is performing in a white dress while her violinist is in a white and silver costume.

Watch the rehearsal!

Stay tuned for our reaction to Sunstroke Project as they rehearse Hey Mamma next for Moldova. Meanwhile, remember to tune in to our live stream from the press centre for instant reactions to each rehearsal.

Ryan Cobb

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
