escXtra are live from Kyiv for day two of rehearsals ahead of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest! The countries rehearsing today, in chronological order, are Greece, Poland, Moldova, Iceland, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Armenia, Slovenia and Latvia. The latest artist to rehearse is Omar Naber from Slovenia. We have just watched his first run through of On My Way live on screen and here is our initial reaction.

The performance and Omar himself do their best to elevate an average song with the first proper use of the chandelier’s full technology.
Staging
The performance is black and white themed and is also the first one to make full use of the “chandelier” technology. In addition, the mini screens belonging to the chandelier descended into full view and Omar performed in the centre of them. Overall, a very pretty performance although the camerawork needs a bit of tidying up.
