Furthermore, read our handy guide for a more detailed look at this contest’s rehearsal schedule.

In addition, for our immediate reactions to every single rehearsal, you can follow our live stream from the press centre at the International Exhibition Center by visiting our YouTube channel.

The latest artist to rehearse is Timebelle from Switzerland. We have just watched their first run through of Apollo live on screen and here is our initial reaction.

Summary in a sentence

In completely revamped staging since the national final, Timebelle have done wonders with Apollo and this is definitely in with a chance of qualification.

Staging

The LED backdrops are very bright, with blues, pinks and yellows. In addition, Greek statue heads are appearing on the LEDs. Miruna begins the performance on a tall platform before negotiating stairs to join her bandmates on the floor for the final chorus. The whole set-up is very colourful and works very very well. The camerawork needs improving but I think Miruna wasn’t focusing on this during the first run-through due to in-ear issues.

Vocals

Despite the aforementioned in-ear issues, Miruna is very solid vocally and introduced some new ad-libs to the final chorus in Dami Im-esque style, to a lesser extent.

Costumes

Miruna is dressed in a yellow dress while her band mates are in white shirts with pink waistcoats. The brightness works well with the LEDs.

Watch the rehearsal!

Stay tuned for our reaction to Naviband as they rehearse Story Of My Life next for Belarus. Meanwhile, remember to tune in to our live stream from the press centre for instant reactions to each rehearsal.
