ESCXTRA: Live from Kyiv

Day 7: Fusedmarc complete second rehearsal for Lithuania – PREDICTION & REVIEW

ESCXTRA are live from Kyiv for day six of rehearsals ahead of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest! As every country has now rehearsed for the first time, there is no more need to mute our live stream. The countries that are completing their second rehearsals today are all in Semifinal 2. They are, in chronological order: the Netherlands, Hungary, Denmark, Ireland, San Marino, Croatia, Norway, Switzerland, Belarus, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Israel. Furthermore, read our handy guide for a more detailed look at this contest’s rehearsal schedule.

In addition, for our immediate reactions to every single rehearsal, you can follow our live stream from the press centre at the International Exhibition Center by visiting our YouTube channel. Also, you will also be able to listen live to each second rehearsal as it happens and give us your opinions in our live chat.

The next artist to take to the stage for their second rehearsal is Fusedmarc from Lithuania. We have just watched their first run through of Rain of Revolution live from Kyiv and here is our reaction.

Staging overview

Lithuania’s staging is very red in its theme just as we saw in the national final and in the first rehearsal. Viktorija is in her red dress, and her bandmate and backing vocalists are on stage in black dress. Her vocals are on point, although they won’t be to everyone’s taste.

Qualification prospects

Despite its good running order draw and staging, ultimately the song just isn’t good enough to qualify for the final. Chances of qualification are 20% just in case their diaspora turn up in crazy and unexpected numbers.

Watch the rehearsal!

We will bring you video footage from this second rehearsal as soon as we have it!

Stay tuned for our reaction to Koit Toome and Laura as they rehearse Verona next for Estonia. Meanwhile, remember to tune in to our live stream from the press centre. There you can ask us your questions and tune in to some live stream interviews with special guests!

Ryan Cobb

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
