Towards the end of last year, the entire Eurovision community eagerly followed former Finnish Eurovision national finalist Saara Aalto’s sensational journey on The X Factor UK. Appearing in the survival sing-off three times, Saara defied all the odds and won over the British public with a series of sensational performances. Her most loved covers on the show included Björk’s It’s Oh So Quiet, ABBA’s The Winner Takes It All and Sia’s Chandelier. In a closely fought final, Saara finished in second place behind her friend Matt Terry. Afterwards, she won a record contract with Sony Music in both the UK and Finland. Saara’s 2017 summer tour visits Europe and Asia
Saara is currently working on her upcoming album. In addition, she has embarked on her international No Fear 2017 summer tour that is travelling across Europe and Asia. Spanning across six countries, Saara is travelling from the UK and Ireland, to the Canary Islands, to Finland, Sweden and even Kazakhstan! However, Saara still had time to release a brand new version of Passenger’s hit single Let Her Go.

The song has been rewritten by Saara in 20 languages especially for Lidl. The global supermarket chain asked Saara to write and perform this song to celebrate the company reaching 20 million Facebook likes! In addition, Saara herself says that the song is also a massive thank you to her own fans all across the world for their continued support.
Five million YouTube views in just a few days!
The video has already received significant coverage online. It is approaching 5 million YouTube views at the time of writing in the space of just a few days! Saara’s new lyrics give the song a different and uplifting message. Furthermore, the staging of the performance can’t help but makes us think what an amazing Eurovision performance something like this could be!
