Today sees the release of the official music video for Came Here For Love, a collaboration between British DJ Sigala and British singer Ella Eyre. The video, filmed in Mexico, perfectly captures the summer vibes of this tropical dance-pop song that is already on the brink of entering the UK iTunes top 10.
Where’s the Eurovision connection you ask? It is a tenuous one admittedly but we had to find some way of showing you all this song! Ella Eyre co-wrote Germany’s 2015 Eurovision entry, Black Smoke, under her birth name Ella McMahon. The song, performed by Ann Sophie in Vienna, didn’t light up the leaderboard. Nevertheless, it was one of my personal favourite songs of the year!
