Yesterday, Cypriot starlet Sophia Patsalides uploaded a brand new cover to YouTube. The song in question is Helium by Sia, from the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack. The song allows Sophia to show off her fantastic vocal tone and range. Both the video and the cover itself were recorded at the Soundscape Studios in Cyprus.
Sophia rose to fame amongst the Eurovision community following her appearance at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Her song I pio omorfi mera (The Most Beautiful Day) was a clear fan favourite and secured 9th place in Malta. Sophia was just one place away from equalling Cyprus’ best finish at the contest! Surely it’s only a matter of time before we see the super talented Sophia in the adult contest?
