Just under three weeks ago, Australian pop princess Jessica Mauboy released her brand new single Fallin’. In the last few hours, Jessica unveiled the official music video!
The song showcases a change in sound for Jessica, with its soulful R&B sound allowing her vocals to shine. In contrast, Jessica’s most recent top 10 hit, 2015’s This Ain’t Love, was a drum and bass-infused dance track! Following a performance of Fallin’ on The Voice of Australia a few days ago, the song stormed to #1 on Australian iTunes and is poised to become Jessica’s 10th top 10 hit on the official charts.
In 2014, Jessica was the first Australian to represent her home country on the Eurovision stage. Her performance of Sea of Flags during an interval act dedicated to Australia’s love of the contest was undoubtedly a key factor in Australia becoming an official participating nation the following year!
