LISTEN: Estonia’s Getter starts ‘Something Good’ with new single and record label

We knew her as Getter Jaani, but now the Estonian popstar is starting a new journey under the mononym Getter! After signing a brand new record contract with Universal Music Baltic, it’s time for a brand new single too. Something Good is Getter’s first English-language single since 2012’s NYC Taxi. It’s a pure pop anthem with a subtle yet insanely catchy chorus. Perhaps it will be the soundtrack to your summer?

Getter represented Estonia in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with Rockefeller Street. She was amongst the pre-contest favourites and went on to finish in 24th place in the grand final in Düsseldorf. Many fans have wished for Getter to return to Eurovision, and this new musical direction is sure to increase those desires!

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
