New Music Friday – Samantha Harvey and Getter lead a round-up of Europe’s best releases this week

Friday is the home of new music releases around the world. We’ve taken the time to compile a list of songs that you must listen to before next Friday comes around! We feature stars from both inside and outside of the Eurovision world. So, what are you waiting for? Dive on into ESCXTRA’s New Music Friday! We begin with Samantha Harvey…

Outside the Eurovision world

Throughout the last couple of days, we have already posted about a few of our favourite releases from inside the Eurovision world. Therefore, before we recap them let’s check out some brand new songs from outside the Eurovision world!

“Forgive Forget” by Samantha Harvey

We’ll admit that we hadn’t heard of Samantha Harvey until she stormed into the top 5 of the UK iTunes chart this morning. Nevertheless, research tells us that Samantha has a substantial YouTube following and has been hard at work making her dream of a music career come true! Indeed, Forgive Forget is a really good mid-tempo pop track that could easily be a big hit. Hopefully, radio stations will take notice of the song quality and give Samantha the airplay she deserves!

“Sun Comes Up” by Rudimental featuring James Arthur

Sun Comes Up is Rudimental‘s comeback single! The drum and bass band have several European hits under their belt, including Feel The Love (featuring John Newman), Waiting All Night (featuring Ella Eyre) and Lay It All On Me (featuring Ed Sheeran). Now they have teamed up with former The X Factor UK winner James Arthur on a tropical dance track that seems certain the rule charts all over Europe this summer!
