Maria Menounos in recovery after brain tumor surgery

Scary! Maria Menounos who hosted Eurovision Song Contest in Athens along with Sakis Rouvas back in 2006 is now in recovery after she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had it removed. Unfortunately, the news couldn’t come at a worse time as her mother is battling  stage 4 brain cancer.
Maria herself has told that she feels fine after successful surgery and although the brain tumor was said to be a size of a golf ball, the surgeon believes close to 100% of it was removed. Maria Menounos stepped down as the co-anchor of E! News to take the time for recovery. In recent social media post Maria thanked for the support:

“To say I’m overwhelmed by all the love and support my family and I are receiving is an understatement.”

We at ESCXTRA.com wish Maria and her family a speedy recovery!
