Yesterday, Slovenian duo BQL launched their brand new VEVO channel. So what better way to celebrate that launch than releasing a brand new music video too? In association with Karo Media and Metrum Films, the brothers unveiled the official video for their smash-hit single Heart of Gold. Since the song’s release earlier this year, Heart of Gold has become a massive radio hit in Slovenia.
BQL entered Heart of Gold into this year’s Slovenian national selection EMA. The song, composed by previous EMA winner Maraaya earned a landslide victory in the televote. Unfortunately, the juries weren’t as convinced. Therefore, when the votes were combined Omar Naber narrowly beat the duo to the ticket to Kyiv. Nevertheless, the song has become a firm favourite amongst Eurovision fans!
