LISTEN: Ulrik Munther takes us for “Coffee in Shanghai” with new single

Two-time Melodifestivalen finalist Ulrik Munther is back today with a brand new single. Coffee in Shanghai is Ulrik’s first English-language track since 2013 if we discount Dig a Little Deeper released for a TV show last year. The song has a relaxing and uplifting vibe that is perfect for the summer season. Ulrik namechecks several countries and cities, perfect for us Eurovision fans. He sings about taking his love to see wonderful places to make her feel nice, so cute!

Ulrik first appeared in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen in 2012, reaching the grand final and placing third with Soldiers. He returned a year later with Tell The World I’m Here, matching his third place finish. Surely, a return to Sweden’s biggest entertainment show isn’t too far away? At least we hope it isn’t!

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
