WATCH: The Hardkiss release new song & video “Журавлi” (Cranes)

Ukrainian band The Hardkiss have released a new song “Журавлi” (Cranes), following on from a series of song releases and an album release this year. Stripped back from the band’s usual releases, this song and video features singer Julia Sanina alone with her guitar.
“The song was written on tour, in a hotel room, with a little guitar. I write about drama so often, and here I wanted to create a light song, I wanted a light tenderness”
The Hardkiss reached the final of the Ukraine Eurovision national selection in 2016 with their song ‘Helpless‘. They tied with Jamala receiving the most points from the jury, but Jamala was declared the winner having received most points from televoting. Jamala went on to win the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm.
Since then they went on to tour their home country as well as releasing many new songs and music videos. Earlier this year they released the album ‘Perfection Is A Lie’.
