LISTEN: Francesca Michielin spits musical fire in ‘Vulcano’

Francesca Michielin has just dropped the video for her single Vulcano. Away from her melancholic style, the Italian singer moves to a new style in her latest effort.
Vulcano is an uptempo effort, with vibes reminiscent of dubstep and dance, but staying true to what Francesco knows best – Italian melodies. In the lyrics, Francesca looks back on a lost love, who has given her vertigo.
Francesca Michielin represented Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with Nessun Grado Di Separazione after finishing second in that year’s Festival di Sanremo. In Stockholm, Francesca finished in sixteenth place.
Her new song is one worth checking out, even if you were no fan of her Eurovision effort. Perfect for a trip to Italy or just… any time during summer!
