Attention!

Anggun signs a deal with Universal Music Asia!

She represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song Echo (You and I). Despite coming only 22nd with 21 points, she has gone on to be massively successful in both France and her birth country, Indonesia! Now, Universal Music Asia have struck a deal with Anggun. Furthermore, she will release her highly anticipated new English album in November 2017!

Universal Music Asia descibes the deal as a one-of-a-kind pan-Asian recording contract. The President of Universal Music Asia, George Ash, has described Anggun as, without doubt, an incredibly talented artist:

“Throughout her career, she has been popular not only in Asia but around the world, proven by the fact that she is the best-selling female Southeast Asian artist outside of Asia. She has countless international accolades and her work on Asiaโ€™s Got Talent will lay the foundations for future generations of artists. So, we are very proud to work alongside her on her much-anticipated forthcoming English album and look forward to an exciting year ahead.”

Anggun’s comments

Anggun has said that she is extremely proud to have this partnership with Universal Music Asia. She is working very hard on her new English album! She has been writing songs whilst taking short breaks from her extensive tour across France and Belgium.

“The team is truly amazing and dedicated to both music and artists. Iโ€™m excited to showcase collaborations with the most talented songwriters and producers I have ever met and worked with. This is probably my best album so far and I canโ€™t wait to share it with the world.โ€

The future looks very bright for Anggun, and we cannot wait to see what she brings in her new album!
