Poland’s two time Eurovision veterans take the local music scene by a storm with their latest music video “Letnia Przygoda”.
The lead singer of Ich Troje (Michał Wisniewski) dropped the band’s latest single and came across a mixed response from fans as a result of political context.
A comical marriage of politics, summer enthusiasm, sex and religion.
The music video is just as interesting as the lyrics of the song.
Effectively making light of some current political and social events in Poland.
For example, some of the issues they tackle through the lyrics include Poland’s child benefit program and a liquidated financial company by the name of “Amber Gold”.
All in all, the salty lyrics are effectively balanced with the fun and energetic music video.
Ich Troje at Eurovision
Ich Troje’s Eurovision journey begins in 2003.
Their entry “Keine Grenzen-Żadnych Granic” finished a respectable 7th in Riga.
As a result of their previous success, the band entered the contest again in 2006 with their song “Follow My Heart” finishing 11th in the semi and missing out on the final by only 6 points.
In any event,
Is third time a charm? Would you like to see Ich Troje at Eurovision yet again? Do you like their new single despite the not so subtle political message?
