Omar Naber gets his Freedom in his brand new single!

In 2005, Omar Naber represented Slovenia with his song Stop. Unfortunately, he failed to qualify for the grand final, reaching 12th place with 69 points. This year, he again represented Slovenia, with On My Way, and again failed to reach the final, coming second to last in the first semifinal with 36 points.
Moments ago, he released his newest single, Freedom!

Freedom

The single is a massive departure from his earlier work. Rather than going for another powerful ballad, Omar seems to have been inspired by current worldwide hit, Despacito!
In the song, Omar sings about needing to be free from a relationship that isn’t right for him:

I need freedom
All I need is freedom
Darling I don’t love you

We think that this is his best song yet; it has a fantastic beat!

I've watched Eurovision for as long as I can remember, but my interest really built in 2008, after I decided to watch the semifinals online, out of boredom, before the final...I was blown away by the quality of the show and have been hooked ever since! I'm a competitive trampolinist and I love baking. I've also just completed a master's degree in Research Methods in Psychology at University College London.
