OG3NE’s debut album receives Gold certification

OG3NE released their first album after winning The Voice Netherlands titled “We Got This”.
Their popularity is certainly showing as the album has now been certified Gold in The Netherlands.

A successful debut as OG3NE

We Got This was released in September 2016. The album topped the Netherlands charts.
However, when it was announced that the girls will be participating in the 2017 contest, a special edition of the album was released which included their entry “Lights and Shadows” which peaked number 14 in the singles chart.

OG3NE at Eurovision

OG3NE is no stranger to Eurovision. They participated in the Junior edition of the contest under the pseudonym ‘Lisa, Amy and Shelley’.
The girl group represented The Netherlands in 2007 with the song ‘Adem in Adem uit’ and managed to achieve a respectable 11th place.

OG3NE was crying no more

OG3NE was selected to represent The Netherlands in Kyiv in 2017 after rumours and requests from fans. The girl group dedicated their performance to their mother, who was terminally ill at the time.
After their Semi Final qualification, their mother travelled to Kyiv in order to support them. They managed to achieve a respectable 11th Place in the Grand Final.
However, shortly after the contest their mother Isolde Erlinde Vol-Malee, died from a rare form of bone cancer.
