Emelie or Emmelie de Forest? Eurovision winner considers reverting to birth name

Today, 2013 Eurovision winner Emmelie de Forest has revealed a fact most of us will have never known. Emmelie has revealed on Facebook an image of her passport, which reveals that her birth name is, in fact, Emelie Charlotte-Victoria de Forest. Due to this spelling of Emelie being uncommon in Denmark, Emmelie changed her name to its current spelling as a teenager to help fellow Danes pronounce her name correctly. EDIT: Emmelie chose to remove her original post, creating this new post instead:

Emmelie’s PledgeMusic campaign is a massive success!

In addition, Emmelie has been running a PledgeMusic campaign to fund her brand new EP. A few days ago, Emmelie achieved her target and plans for her EP release later this year are full steam ahead!
