Eurovision Prediction🇨🇿 Czechia

YOU have predicted Vesna to win ESCZ 2023!

Over the last past few weeks, you have been submitting your predictions for the latest round of Eurovision Prediction 2023. In the latest round, you were asked to predict the winner of the Czech Republic’s ESCZ. Now, let’s take a look at who you collectively expect to win the Czech ticket to Liverpool!

Last week, ESCZ took place. In their first live televised national final in 15 years, the Czech Republic showcased the 5 songs that are in the running to represent the country at Eurovision 2023.

The winner will be determined by 70% international online voting and 30% Czech public voting. The voting opened during the broadcaster and closed last night, with fans being able to vote using the Eurovision app. The results of ESCZ 2023 will be announced tonight (February 7).

The running order for the broadcast was as follows:

  1. Maella – “Flood”
  2. Pam Rabbit – “Ghosting”
  3. Markéta Irglová – “Happy”
  4. Vesna – “My Sister’s Crown”
  5. RODAN – “Introvert Party Club”

Let’s take a look at who YOU predict will be chosen!

To be frank, our players are terrible at predicting the outcome of Czech selections. Last year, 31% of players predicted that Giudi would win with “Jezinky” (remember that one?), with We Are Domi only getting 17% of predictions.

Back in 2020, almost 1/3 of our players predicted that We All Poop would win ESCZ 2020. Meanwhile, eventual winner Benny Cristo received only 11% of the predictions. Back in 2019, only 13% of our players accurately predicted Lake Malawi’s win. In short, our players don’t have the best track record for predicting Czech national selections…will that change this year?

After each national final, the points will be assigned and you will receive a rankings update via our Eurovision Prediction platform. Furthermore, we will make sure to notify you via our Eurovision Prediction Facebook page, our Eurovision Prediction Twitter page and here on the ESCXTRA website. The player that accumulates the most points after all the rounds have taken place will be crowned the winner of Eurovision Prediction 2023!

Last year, our players correctly predicted 12 national final winners out of 25.

In 2021, our players predicted the correct national winners 7 out of 13 times.

In 2020, 10 of out 27 times…an all-time low. To be fair, 2020 was a very unpredictable year in general.

In 2019, our Eurovision Prediction players collectively predicted 16 out of 29 national final winners correctly.

In 2018, your record was 19 out of 30, which remains the record.

With another 20 national finals set for 2023 overall, there are still PLENTY of points up for grabs! New and returning players can join the game below:
