Lara Fabian shows ‘Growing Wings’ in new single

Lara Fabian is back with a new single. The Belgian singer has released Growing Wings. With the song, she returns to the English language for the first time since 2004.

Return to the English language

Ever since 2004, Fabian focused on French language music, with multiple singles. Neither of those became big hits, so the 47 year old has now chosen a new path. Fabian steps away from French ballads and chansons and has moved towards a more adult contemporary style of music.
The melodic effort that is Growing Wings also has an official video, which she released a few days ago. The video was shot in Iceland, making full use of the Icelandic nature to accompany the song.

Camouflage: Album and tour

Fabian will release an album on 6th October this year, called Camouflage. All songs on the album have been written by Lara Fabian herself, together with Moh Denebi and Sharon Vaughn. The latter has composed many songs for Melodifestivalen, such as Helena Paparizou’s Survivor in 2014.
Not only will she release an album, she’ll also go on another world tour. The tour will start in February 2018, in Miami. After multiple concerts in the United States, she’ll then go to Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, before coming to Germany, where she will give five concerts. After that, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and the Czech Republic are planned. The tour will then be closed with concerts in Brussels and Paris. You can see the entire tour list here.
