Cypriot Junior Eurovision star Sophia Patsalides is back, this time with her official debut single! The track is titled Deep Blue Ocean and was released earlier this month, alongside an official lyric video. Sophia self-produced the track and co-wrote the lyrics with Sarah Patsalides and Adonis Aletras.
The track perfectly captures that end of summer feeling, with its tropical-influenced production mixed with undertones of sadness and emotion. In addition, the use of distorted vocal samples in the post-chorus make it perfect for the charts in 2017. The lyrics themselves describe a sad situation in which Sophia is on the brink of losing an important person in her life.
