We are thrilled to welcome you to Eurovision Prediction 2018 here at its new home of ESCXTRA! This game has gained a substantial following over the past few years, with the game’s official Twitter account counting more than 2,300 followers. Therefore, we are privileged to have been given the opportunity to become the new hosts of Eurovision Prediction.
For those of you who are new to Eurovision Prediction, it is a game where Eurovision fans from all over the world battle it out to become the champion! All players need to do is predict which entry will win each national final that takes place during the 2018 Eurovision season. At the end of the season, the player with the most points takes the victory and becomes Eurovision Prediction Champion! In a special twist for 2018, we will also be awarding a special prize to the winner. We shall announce this, along with the official rules, in the coming weeks…
A change of hands
For the past four years, the fantastic Glen has hosted everyone’s favourite Eurovision related game on Facebook and Twitter. However, he announced at the end of May that the game would not be returning in 2018 to the disappointment of many.
SAD NEWS: Unfortunately, @escprediction will not be returning next year. Thanks to everyone who's played over the last 4 years. x

Here at ESCXTRA, we were eager to reverse the decision. Glen has kindly let us take over the game for 2018, which we teased you all with using a Taylor Swift-esque social media blackout as the clock struck midnight CET at the beginning of August. We hope some of you noticed it!

The official launch of Eurovision Prediction 2018
Now, as the clock strikes midday CET on September 1st, we can finally launch Eurovision Prediction 2018! We will be giving the game a special home here on ESCXTRA.com. But don’t worry! The official Eurovision Prediction 2018 Facebook page and Twitter page will be running exactly as they have done in previous years.
In the coming weeks, we shall post the official rules for Eurovision Prediction 2018. These will be largely the same as in previous years. The only significant change for you guys will be that we are doing away with the submission of predictions by email. Instead, we will provide you with lovely Google forms for each round to make things even easier for you and for us! As we say, all the details you need will be posted in due course.
We will try out very best to fill Glen’s shoes and we hope that you will be happy to participate again this year! Now we just have to wait for the first national final to take place…
