Lucie Jones ties the knot with her Fiancé

Lucie Jones, the UK’s representative has tied the knot with her Fiancé Ethan Boroian in a ceremony in South Wales.

The First documented X Factor UK Wedding

The happy couple first met when both of them auditioned for The X Factor back in 2009. Ethan auditioned with “Use Somebody” and getting as far as Judges Houses.
Lucie then auditioned, with a Whitney classic “I Will Always Love You” in which she was mentored by Dannii Minogue. However, her X Factor Journey was cut short, when she was eliminated in the 5th Week of the competition whilst battling it out in the bottom two with Jedward.

Re-Connecting after The X Factor

In an interview with Hello, the couple mentioned how they re-connected after X Factor and staying in touch. Lucie has described her husband as the following:

“Ethan is everything I could ever have wanted in a man, I count my lucky stars I found him every single day.”

Ethan also created a video of him popping the question to Lucie

Lucie Jones in Eurovision

Lucie Jones represented the United Kingdom with her song Never Give Up on You after winning Eurovision You Decide.
After Lucie won You Decide, she went on a promotional tour, which involved her performing at the Eurovision in Concert and the London Eurovision Party.
Despite having a spectacular performance and overwhelming public support, she only managed to achieve 15th Place (which is UK’s 3rd best placing since the introduction of the Semi Finals)
