As the UK continues to ride the wave following the success of hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, a new Eurovision festival has been announced to celebrate Europe and Australia’s favourite music competition ahead of the upcoming Malmö contest. On Saturday May 4, fans can enjoy EuroSmash Festival at Woolwich Works in London.
EuroSmash Festival 2024 takes over London
In the run up to the 2024 contest taking place in Malmö, Sweden, the organises behind the latest Eurovision party event of the Summer, EuroSmash Festival 2024 have announced fan favourites from past and present will be attending the one-day event at Woolwich Works on Saturday May 4.
Among the line-up are Katrina formerly of Katrina & The Waves, who won the contest for the UK back in 1997, Eurovision 2017 runner-up Kristian Kostov who represented Bulgaria, two-time Irish representatives Jedward, last years’ Gustaph who represented Belgium, plus viral sensations Konstrakta (Serbia 2022) and Subwoolfer (Norway 2022).
Besides the Eurovision-themed bash, attendees can also expect to enjoy entertainment from drag artists, games, quizzes, a food village and much more! Tickets are still available on the EuroSmash booking page. The venue includes indoor and outdoor areas, while catering to all accessibility needs. For those commuting to the venue, it is in walking distance of the Elizabeth Line, DLR, National Rail, local bus routes and Uber Boat services.
