Will it be lucky 13 for Macedonia?
Overall, Macedonia’s best result at the contest came in 2007 and 2008 with Rosica Kulakova & Dimitar Stojmenovski and Bobi Andonov respectively finishing in 5th place. Last year, MKRTV chose Martija Stanojković to represent them in Valletta. Indeed, she immediately became a fan favourite with her tropical-pop anthem Love Will Lead Our Way and eventually finished in 12th place. Remarkably, it was Macedonia’s sixth 12th place finish in 12 Junior Eurovision appearances!
