On Friday night, Moldova’s 2016 Eurovision star appeared on the stage on the Voice of Romania, impressing all four judges with a soulful cover of Adele’s ‘When We Were Young’.
Lidia received many compliments after she had finished her song. The judges told her that she created an intimate moment and loved her sound. After would, she decided on choosing to be a part of Tudor Chirila’s team, Romanian actor, musician, and current Voice coach.

Try, try again?
However, this was not the first time that Lidia Isac has impressed on The Voice’s stage. Earlier in the year, she participated in France’s ‘La Plus Belle Voix’ as part of Florent Pagny’s team. Unfortunately, it was a relatively short journey that ended in the battle stages.
This time, however, it is looking more promising. Not only did she manage to make all four judges turn around and praise her, but her new coach, Tudor Chirila, has been behind the last three winners of the show, so she made a wise decision.
New hopes
After failing to qualify with her song ‘Falling Stars’ at Eurovision in 2016, Lidia Isac wants to make a comeback. She told in a testimonial that she wants to make a more well-known music career away from her country Moldova. And considering her success, she may make it in Romania.
Lidia at Eurovision
Lidia Isac won Moldova’s national selection O Melodie Pentru Europa back in 2016 with her song ‘Falling Stars’ and went to Eurovision, where she, unfortunately, finished 17th with 33 points in her semi-final.
We here at ESCXTRA wish Lidia all the best in her music ambitions and that she may perform to the best of her ability in Romania.
