Blanche collaborated with world-renowned film composer James Newton Howard to do a live cover of the song ‘The Hanging Tree‘. The song was originally featured in “The Hunger Games” and was originally sung by Jennifer Lawrence.

Blanche does what she does best in this cover. Standing and singing into the microphone in a dark room with the spotlight focused on her. This gives a maximum effect and gives a more haunting effect.
Blanche in the Eurovision Song Contest
Blanche represented Belgium with her song ‘City Lights‘. At the time of the contest, this made her one of the youngest contestants of the year being only 17 at the time.
Despite criticisms from Fans, Blanche gave a spectacular performance and gave a well-received performance in the Grand Final. Blanche managed to finish fourth place, which gave Belgium their third consecutive top ten result.
