Amir in the Eurovision Song Contest

Amir represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest with his song “J’ai Cherché”.
Despite the controversies of having the English language in a French entry, the risk ended up being successful. Amir was able to achieve a respectable sixth place with 257 points.
This gave France their first top ten result in six years and catapulted Amir to commercial success.
