While the show isn’t due to air until early next year, filming has been underway for the relaunch of X Factor Suomi! It has all kicked off in the last couple of days, with lucky hopefuls auditioning in front of the judging panel for the first time. Of course, as was revealed in June, the panel includes former UMK runner-up and X Factor UK runner-up Saara Aalto!
“I guarantee our season will be full of… DOGS!”
For those of us following Saara’s social media feeds as well as the social feeds for X Factor Suomi itself, we’ve been given an insight into all of the goings on during the past couple of days! Check out the behind the scenes images below. These include the first look at Saara and her fellow judges Michael Monroe, Mikael Gabriel and Suvi Teräsniska behind the famous judging table. It seems like they all have pet puppies in common!

Saara is responsible for revitalising the Finnish X Factor brand
On June 13th, it was revealed that X Factor Suomi would air in Finland for the first time since 2010. This followed the immense popularity of the X Factor UK airing in the country last winter as Finns followed the journey of compatriot Saara Aalto on her way to the grand final of the show.
Therefore, it made perfect sense for MTV3 to invite Saara to be on the judging panel for the relaunch of the show that she made possible. Speaking in June, Saara said: “I know what it takes to go through a competition like this, so I’m gonna give my all to the contestants and share with them my experience!”

The show will air in spring 2018. The auditions stage will continue to be filmed over the coming days.
