Many Eurovision stars have celebrated their birthday in September. Just to highlight it, yesterday 4 of them did. However, today we have only one special Eurovision birthday girl. She got the most points for Spain since 1996! Does that ring a bell? Pastora Soler has a birthday today!
Pastora Soler, 39
RTVE selected Pastora Soler internally to represent Spain at Eurovision in 2012. For that reason she perfomed at the final in Baku, Azerbaijan. Where she sang a strong power ballad called “Quédate conmigo (Stay with me)”. Like mention earlier, the song gave Spain the most points for the the last two decades. Although some have ended with a higher placement. Soler endend in 10th place, that highest placement Spain has gotten since 2003 when Beth with “Dime” got 8th place.
