Isabella Clarke will “Speak Up!” for Australia in Junior Eurovision 2017

It has recently been revealed that the Australian entry for the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be titled Speak Up!. The entry will be performed by 13-year-old Isabella Clarke who was revealed as this year’s Australian representative last month. Her song will premiere “soon”!

“It’s about voicing your opinion and believing in yourself”

The song title was revealed in Isabella’s profile video, uploaded to junioreurovision.tv over the weekend. Regarding the message of the song, Isabella says:

“The meaning of Speak Up! is obviously about speaking up, voicing your opinion and believing in yourself. Especially being young women or young girls, it’s being able to say what you want to say in life.”

“It hasn’t sunk in yet!”

Furthermore, Isabella explains how much she loves singing and her expectations from Junior Eurovision:

“My favourite thing to do is singing. Singing is basically my life and I just love performing for people and making people happy. It hasn’t sunk in yet that I’m going to Junior Eurovision. I’m probably most looking forward to meeting so many people from around the world that I’m going to know forever!”
