F.Y.R. Macedonia: Mina Blažev’s “Dancing Through Life” to be released on Sunday

Macedonian national broadcaster MKRTV has revealed that the song Mina Blažev will perform in Tbilisi will be titled Dancing Through Life! Furthermore, the song will be unveiled at 6.30pm CET on Sunday 8th October. We can’t wait!

Another uptempo dance song for Macedonia?

For the second year in a row, MKRTV has chosen Aleksandar Masevski to compose their Junior Eurovision entry. Indeed, he composed last year’s fan favourite entry Love Will Lead Our Way, performed by Martija Stanojković. Therefore, we’re sure many Junior Eurovision fans will be looking forward to hearing Dancing Through Life. It sounds like it’s going to be another fun uptempo dance song!

Looking for that podium finish

Last year, Martija finished in 12th place in Valletta. Remarkably, it was Macedonia’s sixth 12th place finish in their 12 Junior Eurovision appearances! Overall, Macedonia’s best result at the contest came in 2007 and 2008. In these years, Rosica Kulakova & Dimitar Stojmenovski and Bobi Andonov respectively finished in 5th place.

Good luck Mina!

Now it’s over to Mina Blažev to take Macedonia to even higher heights! She earned the right to represent her country last month following a series of internal auditions held at MKRTV. The broadcaster chose 14-year-old Mina and we await her entry on Sunday!
