Five young talents battled it out
In this evening’s show, Juniores de Portugal, five talented young artists battled it out to win the right to sing Youtuber in Tbilisi. The song has been written by João Cabrita and Mariana Andrade. Furthermore, each act sang a second song of their own choice in order to try and win the votes from both the viewers and the jury.
The jury consisted of three Eurovision-connected musicians. These were previous Portuguese Eurovision representatives Carlos Mendes (1968 and 1972) and Inês Santos (1998) as well as this year’s Festival da Canção finalist Pedro Gonçalves.
