We haven´t found a Eurovision star that had a birthday yesterday, however there were six birthday people on the 4th of October. Today we are celebrating two birthday´s, because there are two Eurovision birthday girls today. One took part in 1985 and the other in 2008. It’s time to see who has a birthday today… The birthday girls are Sonja Lumme and Tereza Kerndlová.

Sonja Lumme, 56

After winning the Finnish final in 1985 with the song “Eläköön elämä”, Sonja went to perform in Gothenburg, Sweden. At the final she got 58 points and thus came in 9th place out of 19. Sonja made three attempts to enter Eurovision again, in 1988, 1989 and in 1992. The last one where she was the closest to it, that is her song “Rakkauden bulevardi” came in 3rd at the Finnish national final.

Tereza Kerndlová, 31
