FYR Macedonia: It’s Mina Blazev with “Dancing Through Life”

Macedonia’s National Broadcaster (MRTV) finally released Mina Blazev’s Junior Eurovision entry titled “Dancing Through Life” and it certainly made us bust a move!
The team behind Mina’s “Dancing Through Life” is the same team that worked with Martija and “Love Will Lead Our Way” last year. The composer – Aleksandar Masevski – certainly brings a contemporary, modern and radio friendly vibe to a Junior Eurovision entry.

Mina’s Journey

The young talent is no stranger to competing in talent shows. Mina started off her music career through participating in the very popular Blakan show – Pinkove Zvezdice.
Despite not winning the competition, Mina never failed to amaze the judges with her powerful voice.

Will it be lucky 13 for Macedonia?

Overall, Macedonia’s best result at the contest came in 2007 and 2008 with Rosica Kulakova & Dimitar Stojmenovski and Bobi Andonov respectively finishing in 5th place. Last year, MKRTV chose Martija Stanojković to represent them in Valletta. She immediately became a fan favourite with her tropical-pop anthem “Love Will Lead Our Way” and eventually finished in 12th place. Remarkably, it was Macedonia’s sixth 12th place finish in 12 Junior Eurovision appearances!
In any event,
What do you think of Mina’s “Dancing Through Life”? Do you like the music video? Will Mina bring Macedonia its best result yet? Are we heading to Skopje in 2018?
