Yesterday there was a Bulgarian Eurovision artist that had a birthday. Today on the 20th of October there are two Eurovision singers that have a birthday! One birthday girl and one birthday boy. The guy, in addition to singing once at Eurovision, has had a big influence on the his countries behalf. That includes composing and hosting the national selection. And eventually he initiated new system for the National selection that succeeded to make a Eurovision winner. Samara and Stefan Raab have a birthday today!
Samara Rahimili
In 2016 Azerbaijan selected Samara to perform at Eurovision in Stockholm. Therefore she sang the song “Miracle” on stage. Her song advanced to the final, where she got 117 points that scored her in 17th place.
Stefan Raab
Like mention earlier, the birthday boy has had his fingers all over Eurovision in his country. He first competed in Eurovision in 1998 as a composer of the song “Guildo hat euch lieb” that Guildo Horn sang all over the stage. As well as composing the 2004 entry “Can´t Wait Until Tonight“.
But his first Eurovision stage performance was in 2000 in Stockholm, that is when he performed his own comedy song “Wadde hadded dudde da?”. The song was quite catchy and gained 5th place at the final. His two other entries were also quite popular for they gained 7th and 8th place at the finals.

As well as participating, he got involved with the origination of the German national selection and was part of making the contest “Unser Star für Oslo”. That is where Lena won the national selection and thus performed “Satillite” at Eurovision in Oslo in and which lead to German’s victory.
