Voice of Holland 2015 winner Maan: it’s ‘too early’ for Eurovision

Maan has been rumoured as the Dutch representative for Eurovision 2018, however she has recently denied reports she will be heading to Lisbon next year.
Maan won The Voice of Holland in 2015 and has recently been named by many as the top chooce to represent The Netherlands next year. The Voice of Holland has many ties with Eurovision. Former winners O’G3NE represented in 2017 and current coaches Anouk and Waylon represented the country before at Eurovision.

“I really do not really know anything about it”

In a recent interview on Dutch radio she said she knew nothing of Eurovision participation.
“Of course, there are people who predict what’s going to happen, but I’ll tell you quite honestly: I have not been called yet. I really do not really know anything about it”
She also states how it personally may be too early for her to enter the contest.
“Erm, well, I think it’s a great honour that I can now think that there might be a possibility, but I think it’s too early for me and I’m still not feeling big enough”
She however cannot be ruled out of participation. O’G3NE and Douwe Bob denied reports in the months leading up to them being select to represent The Netherlands.
