Yesterday on November 1st two Serbian girls and a Portuguese guy had their birthdays. However, today only one Eurovision guy celebrates his birthday. His charming performance managed to get the song to the final, whereas the four previous entries from Israel failed to advance from the semi finals. He also did quite well in the grand final, since he managed to finish on the left side of the scoreboard. It’s Nadav Guedj’s birthday today.
Nadav Guedj, 19
The Isreali public broadcaster IBA selected Nadav to preform the Israeli entry in the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in 2015. There he performed the uptempo, dance-friendly entry “Golden Boy”, a song written by Doron Medalie. Like we mentioned earlier, the song advanced to the final. There Nadav Guedj gave a stellar performance and got 97 points, thus ending in 9th place. Doron Medalie also wrote the 2016 entry for Israel, Hovi Star’s “Made of Stars“.
