Rehearsal review

Rehearsing today for Russia inside La Seine Musicale is Tanya Mezhentseva, performing “Mon Ami”. As the first rehearsals are closed to the press, this review is based upon content made public by the EBU and France Télévisions.

Russia is going for a very festive and bright staging. The background has colourful city houses. 4 dancers join Tanya, they also use bicycles as a part of the staging. In the second part of the performance Tanya also goes up on the circus hoop! During that moment the background changes to fireworks in the nightsky.

Tanya is wearing a light pink striped dress and beige boots. Sometimes she joins the dancers team. They are not dressed in the same style. Two female dancers got light coloured dresses, meanwhile two male dancers’ outfits are very casual.

Note: Unfortunately, due to medical reasons (not COVID ones), Tanya used the playback for her rehearsal today as she can’t sing live for now.
