Yesterday on November 10th, three Eurovision artist had a birthday! Today however there are two Eurovision singers which celebrate a birthday in their 30´s. Both have recent and quite active history at Eurovision and their national selection. The birthday girl has performed two times at Eurovision but the birthday boy came in second place at Eurovision. Greta Salóme and Raphael Gualazzi have a birthday today!
Raphael Gualazzi, 36
Since Raphael won the Sanremo Festival in 2011, he got to perform at Eurovision in Düsseldorf, Germany. He performed the song “Madness Of Love” on stage with a piano in front of him. At the final he got 189 points, therefore he finished in second place! Here are some thoughts about the song in a throwback article about written by Riccardo.
In addition to participating in Sanremo in 2011, he as entered the contest 3 more times. In 2014 he sang with the band The Bloody Beetroots the song “Liberi or No” where they got second place.
Greta Salóme,31
First Iceland selected Greta in 2012 to perform at Eurovision in Baku. That time she sang a duet with Jónsi, their song is called “Never Forget”. They ended up in 20th place at the final with 49 points.

Like mention earlier, Greta did indeed compete again at Eurovision, this time in 2016 with the song “Hear Them Calling”. Therefor she sang at the first semi final with with a interactive graphic behind her. However this time her song did not qualify to the final.
